"Chuck" Benhart was the beloved husband of Gail (nee Armato); devoted father of Ryan (Christine), Mike (Dana) and Nick (Tara) Benhart; dear grandfather of Ali, Evan, Tyler and Tristan; loving son of Gladys (the late Harold) Benhart; dear brother of Ruth Bargmann, Karen (Ken) Dickenscheidt, Ron (Arlene) Benhart and the late Allen Benhart;, and brother-in-law of Jerry (Jane) Armato, Valerie (Phil) Cosman, Rosemary (John) Kammes and Peter S. Armato; and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. He loved his family and friends, snow-plowing and dedicated much time as co-owner of Auto Tech & Body in Roselle, and as a volunteer with the Roselle Fire Department. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. with a funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle.
