Fred Ernest Trivett, Eubank, died Friday at the Somerset City Hospital after a short illness.

The son of the late Lindsey and Isabelle Harmon Trivett, he was born November 1, 1900 at Watauga County, North Carolina. He was married to Gertrude Spears November 22, 1922.

Mr. Trivett was an auto mechanic. He was a member of the Eubank Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife; one son, Barkely Trivett, Kingston, Tennessee; one daughter, Mrs. Velma Aker, Somerset; one brother, Eller Trivett, Science Hill; and three sisters, Mrs. Virginia McMullen, Somerset, Mrs. Maggie Thompson, Bluff City, Tennessee, and Mrs. Gertrude Ward, Bel Air, Maryland.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Eubank Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Martin officiating. Burial was in the Eubank Cemetery.

Farris-Morris-Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
