Geraldine "Jerri" Anne Litterst, 64, of Springfield died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at Doctors Hospital.

She was born Oct. 2, 1936, in Springfield, the daughter of Leo and Geraldine N. Moomey O'Neill. She married Ronald J. Litterst in 1960.

Mrs. Litterst retired in April from Lincoln Land Community College, where she had been employed as a records specialist for 15 years. She was a member of Church of the Little Flower and American Business Women Association.

Survivors: her husband, Ron; two daughters, Lynn Anne Litterst and Kathaleen Nancy (husband, Dan) Sumpter, both of Springfield; a son, Jeff (wife, Melissa) Litterst of Glen Carbon; six grandchildren; a brother, William J. (wife, Anne) O'Neill of Blenview; and several cousins.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Church of the Little Flower, the Rev. Henry Schmidt and the Rev. John Ossola officiating. Burial: Mount Auburn Cemetery in Mount Auburn.
