Linda Lee Chaisson Duck, a resident of Stephensville, passed away on July 10, 2013 in New Orleans at the age of 69.

She is survived by her husband, William "Billy" Duck; her sons, William David Duck III & Kermit Duck and his wife Stephanie; her sister, Shirley Chaisson; her grandkids, Aiden and Evan Duck; and 17 nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Kirby and Odeal Chaisson; and her brothers Nolan, Herman, Kermit, Daniel and his wife Grace.

Linda, a Catholic, was a strong willed lady who loved life and did her best to live it to the fullest. A generous and kind hearted person, she helped those who were in need. Mardi Gras was her favorite time of the year. She loved to roll with the ladies of Cleopatra. She loved to travel and see the sights of this country. She enjoyed the outdoors and going fishing. Linda will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Friday, July 12, 2013 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm; continuing Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 8:00 am until 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Linda will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
