Arthur James "Peter" Thibodeau a native of Salt Lake City, Utah and a resident of Berwick passed away July 13, 2013 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans after a long battle with various illnesses.
Peter was born on August 4, 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Arthur Thibodeau and Mary Jackson Thibodeau.
Peter loved life, boating, fishing, four wheelers, hunting, building and racing cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and hanging with his friends. He was kind hearted and would do anything to help anyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Mary Thibodeau of Bayou Vista; two sons, Shelby James Thibodeau and wife Monique and Johnathan Thibodeau both of Berwick; three daughters, Katie Thibodeau and Harley Thibodeau both of Patterson, and Kevina Thibodeau of Bayou Vista.
Also surviving are five grandchildren who were the delight of his life; one brother, Jude Boudreaux of Berwick; three sisters, Catina Paulin and husband Daniel of Bayou Vista, Penny Driskill and Wendy Lodrigue; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Thibodeau; one brother, Kevin Thibodeau; one sister, Cathy "Sissy" Pisani; maternal grandmother Thelma Wynn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Peter will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the funeral services.
