Kimberly "Kim" Carol Allen, 53 passed away July 11, 2013 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Kim was born in Gainesville in 1959. Kim spent the majority of her life in Cedar Key before relocating to Newberry. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Allen enjoyed traveling, the outdoors especially being around water but most of all her grandchildren and family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Amanda Allen and Jennifer Langford both of Newberry mother, Carolyn Pearce of Newberry, and 5 grandchildren. Kim was preceded in death by her father Freddy Allen and her brother Douglas Allen.
The family will receive friends Monday July 15, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland. Funeral services will be held graveside Tuesday July 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm in Cedar Key Cemetery, With Brother Andy Cook Officiating.
