HOMER P. OSBORNE
One day before he would have observed his 58th birthday, Homer P. Osborne of 418 Pleasantview Avenue, a retired baker, died Friday in Syracuse General Hospital. Mr. Osborne, a native of Baldwinsville, had been in failing health several months. Before his retirement he was employed by the M. W. Herbert Bakery in West Onondaga Street. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Irene) Haines, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Young and Mrs. Carl (Eunice) Disotell of Syracuse, Mrs. Edward (Virginia) Gage of Fayetteville and Mrs. Joseph (Catherine) Ross of Buffalo; three sons, J. Homer and Thomas Osborne of Syracuse and John Osborne of Camp Ord, Calif.; two brothers, Glenn and Warren Osborne of Syracuse; three sisters, Mrs. William Carter and Mrs. Nellie Horton of Baldwinsville and Mrs. Madge Hayes of Rochester, and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. in the Paul H. Dewitt funeral home, the Rev. Evan Evans officiating. Burial will be in Belle Isle Cemetery.
