Steven Ray Willis, 58, of Ferdinand, passed away on Monday July 1, 2013 in his home. He was born June 9, 1955 to Joseph J. and Shirley (Olds) Willis in Princeton, IN. Steven was employed at Masterbrand Cabinets in Ferdinand. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, animals and keeping up with current affairs.
Steven is survived by his partner, Edmond Talucci of Ferdinand; his mother, Shirley E. Ferrel and Stepfather Jim Ferrel of Indianapolis; 3 sisters, Marcia Nordman of Mount Pleasant, SC., Sandy Cleary and husband Mike of Indianapolis and Brenda King and husband Phillip of Indianapolis. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Steven was preceded in death by his father Joseph Willis.
Friends may call Friday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon EST in Becher Funeral Home, Ferdinand, IN. A memorial service will be at Noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Memorial contributions can be made to Sisters of St. Benedict Endowment through the Dubois County Community Foundation or a person's favorite charity.
