Funeral services for M. J. Hunter, 24, who lived east of Fidelity on Highway 166, will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Knell service home. The Rev. Fred Schmidtke, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
Mr. Hunter died at 9:30 Sunday night in McCune-Brooks hospital from injuries received seven hours earlier in a car-truck collision three miles south of Carthage on Highway 71.
Two other persons were killed instantly in the crash - Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Sneed of Wichita, formerly of Republic.
The bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Sneed were sent by the Knells to the Max Fossett funeral home in Republic.
