Thomas Joseph Brennan finished his long and courageous battle against pancreatic cancer on November 24th, 2010.

He was born in New York City on May 21st, 1945. He was a graduate of Bishop Kenny High School- Jacksonville, FL and of Belmont Abbey College-Belmont, NC.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Mary Ann Barnes Brennan, sons Ryan and Kevin, daughter-in-law Heather, and grandson James. Tom was the oldest of ten children and Uncle to a multitude of nieces and nephews all of whom loved, respected and admired him.

Tom served in the First Cavalry Division of the United States Army and was awarded multiple Purple Hearts and the Silver Star award for valor in the face of the enemy- the third highest military decoration that can be awarded to a member of any branch of the United States Armed Services.

Upon completion of this military service Tom began his business career in Sales at Xerox Corporation in Atlanta, GA. He was involved in the Information Technology field throughout his business career.

There will be a visitation and Rosary service on Tuesday, November 30th at 6PM in the H.M. Patterson & Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, 404-851-9900.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 1st at 11AM at Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 7171 Glenridge Dr. NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.

The family requests donations be made to either The Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at Johns Hopkins, 401 N. Broadway/Weinberg 2242, Baltimore, MD 21231-2410 or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave. Ste. 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245.
