GLASGOW Daily Times Mabel Clara Jordan, 94, died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at the Barren County Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Bill Powell and Maggie Bridges Powell. Mrs. Jordan was a member of the Dover Baptist Church. She is survived by one son: Donald Ray Jordan and wife Margaret Sara of Glasgow; one daughter: Margaret Billingsley and husband Leroy of Glasgow; one sister: Katherine Bellamy and husband Tommy of Glasgow; seven grandchildren: Don Terrill Jordan and wife Pam, Tim Wood, Mark Billingsley and wife Erica, Stacy Allison and husband Todd, Toye Medford and husband Todd, Shannon Simmons and husband Todd, and David Jackman and wife April; one step-grandson: Jeff Billingsley and wife Tracy; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Jordan; one daughter: Phyllis Jordan; two granddaughters: Sara Rhae Jordan and Jennifer Dawn Stewart; five brothers: Wendell Powell, Carl Powell, Billy Joe Powell, Botts Powell and Earl Powell. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, Glasgow, with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
