HARLEM - George "Doc" Azure, 69, died Friday in a Harlem hospital. A rosary and wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Fort Belknap Community Complex. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas Catholic Church in Harlem. Burial will be in the Harlem Cemetery.
Mr. Azure was born in Zortman and attended Fort Belknap School and Hays Mission School. He was a World War II Army veteran. He married Christine DeLorme in 1947. He spent most of his life in Harlem. He worked on road construction in the Fort Belknap area.
Survivors include his wife; and a brother, Pete of Box Elder. Edwards Funeral Home in Chinook is in charge of arrangements.
