Christine Azure, 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1998, at Northern Montana Care Center due to natural causes. Rosary and vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at St Thomas Catholic Church of Harlem Funeral Mass services will be 11 a.m Friday, Jan. 9, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with burial following in the Harlem Cemetery.

Azure was born Feb 8, 1913 to Louis and Virginia (Allery) Delorme in Whitewater. She attended schools at Malta, Poplar, and Chemawa, Oregon.

She married George "Doc" Azure in 1947 at Harlem. They lived and worked in Butte and Harlem. While in Butte she helped raise her husband's two nieces. She enjoyed visiting friends and relatives, and was an avid bingo player She is survived by one brother, Fred Delorme of Harlem; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Linda Aipperspach and family of Harlem. Her husband preceded her in death in 1987.
