Husband of Stefania "Stephanie" Matyszkiewicz Sledzinski and father of Theodore Walter Sledzinski (1917 - 2005). Married 4 June 1916. His widow later remarried and relocated to Hamtramck, Michigan.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he enlisted one day after his first wedding anniversary. He was working as an electrical machinist for Otis elevator at the time of his enlistment. He served abroad during WWI where he contracted typhus and was sent home. He and his wife and two-month old son lived at 99 Jefferson St Yonkers at the time; it is where he fought this illness after returning from overseas. On the orders of his mother, Anthony was wheeled down the sidewalk in a hospital bed to 21 Jones Place (the home of his parents) where he soon died.

Son of John Kanty Sledzinski and Filomena Wojciechowski (alias Pajak) Sledzinski. Siblings include Carolina Sledzinski Derbonne, William V Sledzinski, Francis J Sledzinski (1899 - 1983), Thaddeus S Sledzinski (1901 - 1988), Jane Sledzinski Moore Goddard (1902 - 1974) and Edward J K Sledzinski (1905 - 1977). Anthony was the oldest of the seven siblings.

Anthony is buried in the plot purchased by his uncle Stephen Brozyna. It is the final resting place of his brother William and 7 other family members with surnames Brozyna, Ernest, Pajak.
