HAVRE — Merceline K. Arkinson, 37, died at a Havre hospital Thursday. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Earl Arkinson home in Rocky Boy. Wake services were held at the home Friday evening. Burial was in Rocky Boy Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 3, 1951 at Rocky Boy. She was raised and schooled there. She had lived in Havre the past 16 years. Survivors include her husband, Gerald T. Main of Havre; her father, Tom Arkinson of Rocky Boy; daughters, Heidi Arkinson of San Francisco and Louwanda Arkinson of Rocky Boy; brothers, Earl Arkinson of Rocky Boy and Edward Arkinson of Fort Washakie, Wyo.; sisters, Pauline Bridges of Havre, Darlene Belgarde of Rocky Boy,
Marlene Piapot of Rocky Boy and Arlene Arkinson of Rocky Boy. Several in-laws at Fort Belknap also survive.
She was preceded in death by her mother. Pallbearers were Ruben Horseman, William Brisbo Jr., Byron Yellow Robe, Russell Standing Rock, Gilbert Belgarde and Monte Stump.
