W. T. ANDREWS PASSES SUDDENLY OF HEART ATTACK

W. T. Andrews, age 81, former banker, merchant and landowner, died suddenly of a heart attack in his home on Avenue A., in Opelika, at 11:30 o'clock last night. He had been in failing health for a number of years.

Deceased served as cashier and vice-president of Farmers national Bank, in this city; he also was elected to one term as Lee County Tax Assessor many years ago. He has resided in Opelika 30 years, moving here from Gold Hill where he was in mercantile business.

Mr. Andrews was a member of First Methodist church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. W. T. Andrews, of Opelika, and one sister, Mrs. W. B. Parrent, Opelika.

Funeral service conducted by Rev. T. S. harris, is to be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the home. Interment in Rosemere cemetery. Summers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The pallbearers will be: Curtis Ivey, O. N. Strickland, Jesse Taylor, J. Z. Fuller, Frank Jackson, Sr. and E. M. Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Board of Stewards in First Methodist Church.
