Karim Abboud, beloved husband of Minerva Abboud of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the age of 68 years.
Karim was born June 15, 1945 in Jib Janine, Lebanon. In 1962 he immigrated to Canada from Lebanon and started his life in Calgary, AB. Karim was employed at LaFarge Concrete where he enjoyed working construction. Besides construction he liked playing pool and poker.
Karim is survived by his loving wife Minerva; his children, Elias, Lili (George) and Johnny (Tara); his grandchildren, Danny, Shadi, Julie, Aidian and Isaiah; and his great-grandson Joseph. He is also survived by his mother Jameilah; his sisters, Souad and Wadad; and his brothers, Nadim and Salemi.
Karim was predeceased by his father Elias; his sisters, Nouhad and Haji; and his brother Esber.
