Mrs. Patsy Sue Woodard, 76, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Meadow View Health and Rehabilitation, Salem, IN.
Born July 16, 1936 in Brownstown, she was the daughter of Leo and Georgia Louise (Louden) Lucas, Sr.
On June 19, 1979 she married Jim "Chip" Woodard who preceded her in death May 23, 1998.
Patsy attended TrinityPentecostalChurch in Seymour. She had retired from H.O. Canfield in 1971 after 20 years and then worked for Cummins Engine Company for 14 years, where she also retired.
After being in the nursing home for several years Patsy enjoyed just setting outside in the gazebo and watching the pet rabbits and birds.
She is survived by her brother Leo "Sonny" Lucas, Jr and companion Maxine Kriete, nephew Jim (Lynn) Lucas, niece Matt (Kimberly) Morrow, great nephew Jack Lucas, and great nieces Madeline Lucas and Taylor Morrow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Marilyn Lee Lanphear.
Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday, July 24, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Dalton officiating.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Monday after 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
