Mike was part-owner of Alliance International Aviation in Chino, CA. While doing freelance instruction for Long Beach Flying Club, the Cessna 172 he and a student were in fatally collided with a Cessna 152 from the same club over the Pacific Ocean.
Mike served in the Navy and was a retired assistant chief at the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station fire department.
He was gentle, patient and kind in personality and while instructing. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children.
