She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 2, 1942 and spent most of her adult life as a Californian living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She worked professionally as a corporate employee, as an educator, as a certified financial planner and as a self-employed business person. Linda was a published author and screen-play writer, a graduate of California State University – East Bay, a marshal artist and a member of MENSA. Her other accomplishments, both personal and professional, were significant.
She moved to New Mexico in 2005 and applied her talent to creating Southwest inspired art working with textiles, gourds, glass, beads, leather, photography and paints. Her creativity was stimulated by the surrounding natural beauty of New Mexico and the creative minds of those she associated with.
She passed away January 28, 2013. She was survived by a daughter, a sister and her husband of 47 years.
Her spirit is in each new dawn.
