MARY I. BUNNEY

Mary I. Bunney, 76, of Burlington, died June 3, 2005 at Life Care of Mount Vernon.

She was born April 1, 1929, in Snoqualmie, King County, a daughter of Harry and Gladys (Peters) Hamilton.

She attended Anacortes schools and Everett Business College.

Her marriage to Howard P. Bunney took place July 25, 1947, in Everett.

She made her home in Everett until moving to Granite Falls in 1977.

In 1994, she moved to Burlington.

Mrs. Bunney was employed as a waitress in Anacortes and was a former member of Culinary Workers Local No. 451, Everett. She retired in 1985.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan Wilson of Everett; one son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Joy Bunney of Concrete; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Freda Mulholland of Mount Vernon; one brother, Richard Hamilton of Sedro-Woolley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; one sister, Leola Jewett; and one brother, Robert Hamilton.

Private interment will be at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Everett.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hulbush Funeral Home of Burlington.
