Carl Meissner was the brother-in-law of John A Roebling who built the Brooklyn Bridge. Family info says that Carl is buried here and I imagine his wife Friederika Amalie (Roebling) Meissner is buried here as well. She died on the 24 September 1868. They both attended the Trinity Lutheran Church. There is a street in Richmond named Meissner Avenue after this couple. It is near Lighthouse Hill where they purchased about 80 acres when they immigrated from Muehlhausen Thuringen Germany (Prussia back then).
