Funeral services for Lou Jimmie Broughton-Miller, 78, of Flint are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Galilee Baptist Church with the Rev. Marcus, Jackson, eulogist, and the Rev. Anthony Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Galilee Cemetery under the direction of Brooks-Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors, Tyler.

Mrs. Miller died June 5, 2013, in Flint.

She was born May 31, 1935, in Tyler to the late Jettie Sr. and Lula Browning Broughton and was a lifelong resident of Smith County. She was a graduate of Stanton High School, a member of Galilee Baptist Church, the usher board and choir. She was a home health aide.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Wardell, Hubert, Jettie Jr., Peter and Thomas Broughton; and daughter, Juanita Broughton.

Survivors include her husband, L.A. Miller; daughters, Reba Miller Guthrie and Undrella Miller Reed; brothers, Kenneth Broughton, Robert Broughton and Cleveland Broughton Sr.; sisters, Josephine Broughton and Pleasie Broughton; and three grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
