She graduated Valedictorian of Cisco High School and received her Bachelors of Music from Texas Tech University. Mrs. Ritter taught music for several years but her desire was always to be a librarian. She returned to school at North Texas University and graduated with a degree in Library Science. She taught many years in Wichita Falls until 1953 when she married John R. (Jack) Ritter and moved to Houston. Mrs. Ritter spent many years with Spring Branch School District until her retirement in 1975. We would like to thank Vitas Hospice and especially Linda.
