Ruth Irene Waycaster Davison, 75, 155 Fairridge Road, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at North Side Hospital. Mrs. Davison was a native of Sullivan County and had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Steve Waycaster and Bonnie Bunton Waycaster and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wiley B. Davison; one brother; and one sister. Mrs. Davison attended Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Mike Davison and his wife, Pam, Johnson City; one daughter, Linda Ann Ervin and her husband, Lee, Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Howard Waycaster and Jack Waycaster, both of Johnson City; two grandchildren, Scott and Tracy; two great grandchildren; brother-in-law; and sister-in-law, Paul and Dorothy Davison; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Davison will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, July 5, 2005, from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home North Chapel. Pastor Alan Campbell will officiate. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Sunday, July 3, 2005 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
