Elly was my mother-in-law. She was born in Germany and met my father-in-law after WW Two. She married him in Germany and than followed him to Allentown, Pa. They had two children - Robert and Gisela. They lived in Allentown for many years but toward retirement decided to move to Orefield, Pa. They built a new house and spent many wonderful years there. They enjoyed the country, gardening and just relaxing. Elly had been a seamstress for a company in Allentown and worked hard all her life. She was a wonderful baker and her pies and cakes were fantastic but her apple cake was the best. She loved to go to Vegas and Atlantic City and going to Florida to visit her two grandsons.
