Carolyn Moon, age 63, of Fulton, Missouri died Friday, August 29, 2003 at the University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri.

Carolyn was born May 20, 1940, in Portland, Missouri, the daughter of Jewell and Delia Mae (Woods) Byrd. They preceded her in death.

Other survivors include her husband, Ivan, of Fulton, Missouri; a daughter, Katherine Hoover; a granddaughter, Kayleigh Hoover; sister, Phyllis Jewell (Byrd) Cave of Holts Summit, Missouri; brother-in-law, Harold Moon of Fulton, Missouri.

Carolyn worked for the Dean's Department Payroll and Budget at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia for several years.

Services are at 11:00am, Tuesday, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Interment will follow in the Auxvasse Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:00-8:00pm, Monday, at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to the Salvation Army.
