Marine Regiment,3rd Marine Division.
The battalion was participating in Operation Buffalo and Mike Company was on a
patrol when Jerry detonated a hostile explosive device.Jerry was med-evac and
on route to the USNH SS Sanctuary he died as a result of fragmentation wounds
to both arms,legs,chest and abdomen.
