Samuel Blake was born on 17 August 1718, in Hampton, Rockingham Co., New Hampshire. He was the son of John Blake (1689 NH - 1781 Merrimack Co., NH) and Mary Dearborn (1695 NH - 1760 Rockingham Co., NH). He married Sarah Bickford. He died on 19 August 1801, in Epsom, Merrimack Co., New Hampshire, at the age of 83, and was buried in McClary Cemetery, Epsom, Merrimack Co., New Hampshire.
