Family notes recently found written by grandson Calnon Hardy claim that parents came from France. Father took a land grant(1.00 an acre on the 8mile near Van Dyke)Family supposedly traced to King Louis 14th. Also says his birthday is Dec 20,1842 and Death Aug 1, 1914. Death certificate says he lived at 130 Trowbridge at time of death
