Gayann Arlene Cupps age 70, of Lyons passed away July 10, 2012 in Lansing surrounded by her family. She was born October 13, 1941 in Ionia the daughter of Lewis and Grace (Bonoite) Shattuck. Gayann married Frank Cupps in 1967. He preceded her in death in 1984. She worked for Chrysler in Lyons for 17 years. Gayann is survived by her children, Sandra (Jeff) Keefer of Ionia, Bobbi Nummer and George Kapp of Ionia, Shoni (Vaughn) Mayle of Ionia, Samantha Hunter of Lyons and Chance Cupps of Ionia; brothers, Joe (Shirley) Shattuck of Ionia, Tom Shattuck of Ionia and Charlie Shattuck and Sharon of Sunfield; sisters, Shirley Shields of Muir, Greta Neilson of Ionia, Clair (Tom) Wilson of Ionia, Terri (Bob) Bowerman of Ionia, Ellie (Paul) Bairefoot of Ionia and Luann Reed of Ionia; grandchildren, Amber Nummer, Russell Mayle, Cole Hunter, Seldon Cupps and Sabria Cupps and great granddaughter Sophie Cunningham. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Russell and Dale and her fiance Larry Meyers. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 13th, 10:00 A.M. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor John Prominski officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution in Gayann's name to your charity of choice.
