Shirley Shannon, age 76 of Loganville, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, December 6, 2013 in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Loganville. Rev. Ricky Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow at Corinth Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Shannon was a life long resident of Walton County and was a loving mother, grandmother, & great grandmother who will be dearly missed. Mrs. Shannon was preceded in death by her husband, John Shannon, and her son, John Calvin Shannon. She is survived by her Children: Mike & Connie Shannon, Loganville; Janet & Tommy Bowden, Loganville; Wendell & Carol Shannon, Jefferson; Mitch & Glenda Shannon, Loganville; Lynn Shannon, Lula; Sisters: Julia Reeves, Loganville; Darlene Brooks, Rutledge; 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren & several nieces & nephews.
