FORREST CITY - Mr. Jerry 'J.J.' Wilson, age 73, of Forrest City, died Monday at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past year.
Mr. Wilson was born July 20, 1939, in Kingsland, Arkansas, and was the son of Jasper F. Wilson and Martha J. Watson Wilson. He moved to Forrest City in 1972, was a heavy equipment operator, and attended the Good Hope Baptist Church.
Mr. Wilson married xxxxx in 1962, and she survives him along with two sons; two grandchildren; two sisters, and three great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Wilson will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, with burial in Lindsey Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday evening, 6 till 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
