Irene A. Nutley, age 93, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on September 10, 1919, daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie (Dees) Roberts. In 1986 in Hamilton, she married Carl Nutley.
She was employed as an inspector at Champion International for 25 years, as well as working in the plant department at Marsh Supermarket for 6 years, retiring in 1990. She attended the Methodist Church and was a member of Order of Eastern Star #195 for over 50 years, Amvets #1983, Eagles #407, and a lifetime member of VFW #1069.
She is survived by
her husband, Carl Nutley;
son, Fred (Linda) Pierson;
grandchildren, Michael (Aurora) Pierson, Kevin Pierson, Christopher Pierson, Kayti (Jimmy) Thrash, Jennifer (Jason) Faszholz, Jaime Pierson and Jordan Pierson;
great grandchildren, Noah, Ellie, Avery, Greyson and Kirin.
She was also preceded in death by
her brothers, her twin James, Lee, Albert and Roy Roberts.
Funeral service at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue with Pastor Edwin Beck officiating. Burial at Millville Cemetery.
