She was born in Adams County, Ohio on April 14, 1905 the daughter of the late Charles and Ora (Powell) Smith.
She was a member of the Freedom Chapel of Hamilton.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband James Thomas Grooms in 1951 and her 2nd husband Frank Coleman in 1970 and one son Vernon Grooms.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lovene and Paul Waulk of Hamilton, Four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, fourteen great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Friday, December 31, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson
Funeral Home in Peebles with Walter Philpot officiating. Burial followed in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends called on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till service time at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
