Julia Marie Greene of Aztec left to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, May 31, 2005. She died in Farmington. She was born Aug. 2, 1939 in Cedar Hill to Wayne and Minnie Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth; and grandson, Scotty Ray.
She is survived by her "Best Friend" and loving husband of 47 years, Butch; sons, Rodney Greene and wife, Libby, and Kenny Martin and wife, Helen, all of Aztec; daughter, Patti Alexander and husband, David, of Aztec; sisters, Bea Greenleaf and husband, Jay, of Aztec, and Ann Huish and husband, Carl, of Farmington; brother, Charles Martin and wife, Sandy, of Aztec; brothers-in-law, Irvin Greene and wife, Sue, of Texas, Leon Greene and wife, Peggy, of Arizona, and Ronnie Greene and wife, Delinda, of Texas; sisters-in-law, Sis Nelson and husband, Arlie and Retha Tyson and husband, Don, all of Texas; grandchildren, Olivia Martin, Janice Herbaugh, Linda Greene, Brett Alexander, Jeff Arinder, Heather Alexander, Donald Greene, Steven Arinder, Tony Tillman and Shaci Tillman; and one great-granddaughter due this month.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today, Thursday, June 2, and from 9 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 3, at Cope Memorial Chapel of Aztec.
Services for Marie will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at Bethel Baptist Church in Aztec. Pastor Bob Schlauger will officiate. Burial will follow at the Cedar Hill Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers are all of her grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers are Allan Fielder, Poss Wilcox, Keith Johnson, John Hanks, Billy Huish, Bobby Huish, Bobby Martin and Michaell Martin.
