Played piano in the Cochranton Philharmonic Orchestra as well as for the silent movies. Worked in a glove factory in Cochranton, PA during World War I. Worked the family farm in Wayne Twp, Crawford Co., PA along side Albert. Sold the farm in 1960 and moved to Cochranton, PA.
