Son of Albert John and Mabel Eldora (Dennington) Galmish. Married Doris Pierce in Methodist Parsonage, Youngsville, PA on October 10, 1946. Built a 1.5 story cement block home on edge of his father's farm in 1949-1950. Farmed with parents until 1960. Employed as Boro Manager of Cochranton PA until he obtained employment with Highway Department in Meadville. (Later to be re-named PennDOT).
