Abner, Mary Emma, age 79, currently of Jacksonville, FL, but lived most of her life in Winter Park, FL, went to be with her Lord Sunday, May 12, 2013. Mary was born in Huntington, West Virginia, and moved to the Orlando area in 1949. Mary was a gracious lady who lived her life according to three distinct principals: love of God; love of family and the goal of always being a trusted friend. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church of Orlando and the Junior League of Greater Orlando. She was a devoted wife, mother and servant of God. Her beloved husband of 57 years, L. Pharr Abner; her parents, Angus Bud Lawson and Vesta Hensley Lawson; and her son, Brian Dwight Abner, predeceased Mary. Mary is survived by: her loving son Brett Pharr Abner, her daughter-in-law Michelle Abner, her grandson, Brett Pharr Abner II; her granddaughter Aubrie Alyss Abner; and her loving brother Joseph Lawson. Mary Abner is also survived by her special nieces and nephews all who are very near and dear to her and the family.
