AUTUMN ANN EBIE COPES, age 68, Criswell Road, Berry, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, September 29, 1944, to Margaret Rose Browning Kenley of Cynthiana and the late Roy Ebie. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Benson United Methodist Church, Antioch Richland Homemakers and Crazy Quilters. Mrs. Copes was an active member and choir director of the Elmarch United Methodist Church and a Harrison Memorial Hospital gift shop volunteer. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne Copes and father, John Browning.

Besides her mother, she is survived by a son, Colin (Erin) Copes, Alexandria; a daughter, Cara (Eric) Herrmann, Crittenden; two half-brothers, Christopher (Grace) Ebie, Michigan and Bart Ebie, Modesto, California, four grandchildren, Madison and Tristan Copes and Ava and Hannah Herrmann, her step-mother, Mary Ebie, Modesto, California; a brother-in-law, Bradley (Diane) Copes; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Syra, Iola (Robert) Hail, Wanda (Harold) Jones, Fernita "Sug" Varner, Ruby (Calvin) Sudduth, Ruth (William) Kendall, Virginia Copes and Sherry Copes, numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Dean Franklin and his family.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday at Ware Funeral Home by Jeff Jackson and Carol Whiting. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
