Sualua was born in Fagatogo Village in American Samoa. He married Moana Pola July 4th, 1975. Together they were blessed with seven children. Sualua loved playing the guitar, listening to oldies, working on his cars, drawing, reading and especially watching National Geographic. He was preceded in death by his father & mother:

Sualua was my husband's cousin. He was the most loving person I knew. He truly loved his wife and his children and doted on his grandson. Above all in life, his family was his priority. Sualua was husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all.
