Irving A. "Sparky" Abell, 75, Salisbury, died Feb. 17, 1988, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Jan. 16, 1913, in West Salisbury, son of the late Clark and Rosetta (Kerns) Abell. Survived by four brothers: Emmet, Dearfield, Ohio; Ward, Akron, Ohio; Forrest, Winter Park, Fla.; and William, California. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 pm with Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.
