Mark Andrew Abels, age 49 and a resident of Springfield, LA. Mark passed away Monday, May 6, 2013, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. He worked as a concrete finisher in the residential and commercial industry most of his life. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors camping, gardening, hunting and fishing. Mark will be missed dearly by his family, friends and community.
Mark is survived by his loving daughter, Kristina ; brothers, Tommy, and Harry; sister, Susan, sister in-law, Margarets; 3 grandchildren, Destiny, Raven, and Peyton . He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Preceeding Mark in death were his parents, Wilson and Elizabeth Abels; brothers, Wilson Alden Abels and Richard "Dickie" Abels; and sister, Karen Abels.
