With a sad and aching heart I will try to write the obituary of my loving husband, Lawrence Farley. He was born March 21, 1903 and deceased this January 21, 1975 at the age of 71 years and 10 months. He was married to Nolie Mae Hunt December 31, 1932. To this union was born 15 children, two preceded him in death. Eight daughters, Barbara Williamson and Judy Stanley, both of Sidney, Kentucky; Ollie Scott, Cincinnati, Ohio; Daisy Sesco, Hatfield, Kentucky; Connie Huddle, McCarr, Kentucky; Cleo Farley, Hardy, Kentucky; Patty Luster, Sabina, Ohio; and Patsy Dotson, Ransom, Kentucky. Five sons, Harold Farley, Forest Hills, Kentucky; James Farley and Charles Farley of Cincinnati, Ohio; Donnie Farley and Jerry Farley, both of Hardy, Kentucky. There are 16 grandchildren.
He joined the Old Regular Baptist Church at Narrows Branch. He was baptized the fourth Sunday in May, 1973 by the hands of Jimmy Deeley and Willis Lowe. He attended the church as he was able. He loved the old church and all his brothers and sisters. He was a good loving husband and father. My home is lonesome without him but I feel my loss is Heaven's gain. So children, those that are out of the ark of safety, turn your face toward Heaven and call God for a record on your soul and ask Him just how you stand with Him this day. Repent while you have life and opportunity because after death there is no repentance. Then you can go home with Daddy and live with Jesus forever. I am praying to live with and walk with him again in the by and by.

Nolie Mae Farley
