Mary Ollie was one of my father's (Robert L. Knowles) favorite cousins. I was so suprised to see her at Daddy's memorial service all the way on the Outer Banks of NC. It meant so much to my sister and me to have her there. I think there are more of my family in heaven now, than on earth! God Bless you, Mary Ollie!

BUSH, MARY OLLIE

Old Town - Mary Ollie Bush, 85, of Old Town passed away at her home on Thursday, August 16, 2007. Mrs. Bush, a lifetime resident of Dixie County, was a member of the Rock Sink Baptist Church and a member of the WMU at Rock Sink.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Bush and his wife Audrey, Larry Bush and his wife Angie; daughter, Cherie Norton and her husband, Larry ; brother, Leon Cooper; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Kendon Bush.

Funeral services will held Sunday, August 19, 2007 at the Rock Sink Baptist Church in Old Town with Rev. Terry Cranford, Rev Mike Brown and Rev. Wayne Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the Rock Sink Cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007 between the hours of 6 & 8PM at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home in Cross City.

Arrangements have been placed under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home, US Hwy 19, Cross City, 352-498-5400.
