[Michael J. Keeley of 1197 North Colony road, died at his home yesterday morning after a short illness. He was born in Norfolk, and had lived in Meriden for fifty years. He was employed by the Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. for thirty-seven years, and he retired ten years ago. He was a parishioner of St. Rose's Roman Catholic church, and was a member of the Holy Name society of that parish. Also he was a member of Meriden Lodge, Loyal Order of Moose. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Turcotte and Mrs. Cletus Dontigney; two sons, Edward Keeley of the United States Navy, now stationed at Norfolk, Va.; two sisters, Miss Elizabeth Keeley of New Britain and Mrs. Mary Brayne of New London; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 8:15 o'clock from the funeral chapel of John J. Ferry & Sons, 88 East Main street and at 9 o'clock at St. Rose's church, where a high mass of requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in the family plot in Sacred Heart cemetery.

The funeral of Michael J. Keeley took place yesterday with the Rev. Robert P. Sullivan as main celebrant, the Rev. Francis X. McGuire as deacon and the Rev. Dennis P. Hurley as sub deacon in a high mass of requiem. At the offertory, Miss Frances Curley sang, "Pie Jesu, " and at the conclusion of the service, "Face to Face." At the recessional, Organist Owen Wrinn played, "Nearer, My God to Thee" on the chimes. Fr. McGuire had the final benediction at Sacred Heart cemetery.
Pallbearers were Otto G. Lippold, Gustave A. Johnson, John Winner, Alexander J. Secon, George P. Mousch and Arthur H. Turcotte.
