Ada Liberty "Libby" Ledet, 95, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 in Houma.

Libby was born on January 7, 1918 in Morgan City the daughter of James J. LeBoeuf and Ada Bonner LeBoeuf.

Libby was always known for doing things her way and everyone loved her for it. She was the second mother to Mr. George Percle who was her loving caregiver and a special god child throughout her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and also a member of Our Lady of the Sea. Libby was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 96 since 1945, a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 4222 where she was a guard for 40 years. Libby played Santa Clause for 13 years at the Morgan City Healthcare Center. She was an avid bingo player and loved going to the casino. Libby was a dedicated fan of the Green Bay Packers.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews, George Percle of Morgan City, Anna Luc of Morgan City, Nelwyn LaHoste of Bayou Vista, Malcolm Percle of New Iberia, Lynette Roy Davis of Patterson, Joseph "Lenny" Roy of Morgan City, Katherine E. Roy of Lafayette, Shirley Frank and Mary Louise Andreson both of Galveston, Texas. Libby is also survived by various other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James J. and Ada Bonner LeBoeuf; husband, Clifford "Blackie" Ledet; three brothers, Joseph LeBoeuf, Ernest LeBoeuf, Herman LeBoeuf; one niece, Marilyn Roy; one nephew, James LeBoeuf.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Libby will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Percle, Donald Luc, Jr., Linden Blakeman, Bruce LaHoste, Kerry Luc, Lenny Roy.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church 415 Union St. Morgan City, LA 70380.
