On June 25, 1936, she married Joseph Johnson in the home of her parents at 116 E. High St. in Morris. She was associated with the family grocery store at the corner of Liberty and East High St. until its closing in 1941.
Mrs. Johnson loved antiquing, quilting with her church circle, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Jeanne (Gerald) Borror of Morris; one granddaughter, Jennifer (Dominic) Muscato and one grandson, Krisopher J. Zink, both of Morris; two great-granddaughters, Kayla Zink and Isabella Muscato, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on Jan. 10, 1982, four sisters and two brothers.
