Sarah "Sweany" married Joseph "Whitiker" in Tuscarawas County, OH on April 13, 1852.

"Sarrah {sic} A. Whitticar, aged 82, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lillian Sweeten, 71 West Thornton Street, Friday morning. The funeral will be held at the Evangelical church at Greensburg at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Burial in Greensburg."
