Major Berlin B Bone - 124 Washington Ave, Manitou Springs, died Sunday at a local hospital.

He was self-employed Accountant and had been a resident of Manitou Springs since 1938. He was a graduate of Emporia State Teachers College, Emporia, KS and was a past Master of Manitou Masonic Lodge No. 68 and a past President of the Manitou Springs Kiwanis Club. He was a member of Ruxton Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, No. 10, of Manitou Springs.

He was a Major in the US Army Intelligence Service in World War ll, stationed in Washington, DC.

He was born in Weatherford, OK, Dec 31, 1905. He came to the Pikes Peak Region in the late 1930s and, before going into the Army, was Manager of the City Finance Co of Colorado Springs, CO. He was married June 12, 1943 in Washington, DC.

His wife, Mrs Margaret (Marcie) Bone of Manitou Springs survives him. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs Ethel Bone, Manitou Springs. A sister; Mrs Louise Applegate, Seattle, WA; a nephew; Frank Applegate, Florida. A niece; Mrs Jane Evans, Minnesota.

Berlin was a Major in the US Army during WW ll and was stationed in Washington, DC. He was an accountant and was also a Master Mason.

Berlin and Macie had no issue.
